THE RACE
Get out of the house and run/walk the Willie Stargell 5K Road Race on April 18, 2026. There is a 1 Mile and 5K events! The Willie Stargell 5K raises money to support kidney disease research, and patient care and support.
Baseball Hall of Fame Member Willie Stargell of the Pittsburgh Pirates, passed away from kidney disease in 2001. The Willie Stargell Foundation gives hope to those fighting this disease. Click here to register.
Participants receive a ticket to after race brunch at Coquina Fishbar following the race next to Regal Cinema.
THE COURSE
885 Town Center Dr., on the field next to Melting Pot, in Mayfaire Town Center.
This is a fast and flat paved road course that takes runners around Mayfaire Town Center, with little road traffic.
This racecourse is also stroller & wheelchair friendly! However, dogs are not allowed on this course so please leave them at home or with a non-running spectator.

The mission of the Willie Stargell Foundation is to honor the legacy of Willie Stargell by giving hope through research, patient care and treatment for those living with kidney disease.
The Willie Stargell Foundation supports kidney disease research and patient care. By raising funds from generous public and private donations, the Foundation seeks to ease the financial burden of ever-increasing medical costs patients suffering from kidney disease face.
